When you need a record of what happened, Safety Recorder captures video and audio and files it directly to your private evidence timeline.
Before the first recording, Safella explains what will be captured and you tap Start recording. Choose Calculator or Weather as the recording display; your device's camera and microphone privacy indicators remain visible.
How it works

Choose a recording display
Select Calculator or Weather in Settings. This changes the on-screen layout while Safety Recorder is active.

Start recording
Safella explains that video and audio will be captured. Tap Start recording when you are ready; your device privacy indicators remain active.

Saved to your evidence
Stop with the back arrow. The clip is geo-tagged and filed to today's incident, ready to become part of a report.
When you'd use it
- Documenting a safety incident
- Creating a record of an uncomfortable or threatening encounter
- Capturing your surroundings when you feel unsafe
- Adding location and time information to your incident timeline
